Hannon Nutrition Consultancy is run by nutritionist Dr. Evelyn Hannon. Evelyn holds a B.Sc., M.Sc and PhD in nutrition from University College Cork. Her PhD was in the area of childhood nutrition. Evelyn began her career working for the Irish Universities Nutrition Alliance (IUNA) coordinating national nutrition surveys for Ireland including the Irish National Teen Food Survey (www.iuna.net). During her time with the IUNA, Evelyn published a number of scientific papers and has presented her research findings all over the world from Durban to Sao Paulo and at many conferences in Europe. Over the past number of years, Evelyn has worked as a nutritionist within industry. Having worked across a number of sectors including retail, food service and food manufacturing, Evelyn combines her strong grounding in nutritional science with a practical knowledge and understanding of the food industry.
